Frequently Asked Questions:
Q: Where will tutoring sessions be held?
A: Well that's up to you! Most sessions are held at the child's home; however, I occasionally tutor my students at daycare/after-school, or the local library.
Q: How many sessions will my child need per week?
A: It depends on his or her individual needs. Most students tutor once a week; however, two times may be optimal for students who need extra support. In special cases, such as home-schoolers, I have tutored students 3-4 times per week.
Q: My child has special needs, can you still help?
A: Certainly. Some of my most successful students have struggled with learning or behavioral disabilities. Your child deserves the same opportunities to be loved and taught appropriately, in accordance with IDEA Legislation (2004).
Q: Can you tutor more than one child at the same time?
A: Yes, one on one is preferable, but I have tutored in small groups as well.
Q: Can you tutor all of my children?
A: Absolutely, I can work with each child according to his/her individual needs.
Q: What are your rates?
A: Rates vary, please see "Standard Rates" section.
Q: Do you offer discounted rates?
A: Yes, discounts are available to families with multiple children, and those who are most in need.
