My Background

I am a Bulldog through and through! I graduated from the University of Georgia in 2009, with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication, and again in 2011 with a Master of Arts in Teaching, from Piedmont College. I am a Level 5 Certified teacher specializing in K-12 education.

My Expertise

I have over 15 years experience working with all age groups, and am proud to say that I have succeeded as a teacher where others have failed. Providing supplemental education in Charlotte, NC has become my life's work. I often work with siblings, and offer flat rate pricing for multiple subjects/children. I am also an approved provider for the North Carolina Disabilities Grant and Educational Savings Account Programs. I look so forward to meeting you!

Personalized Lessons

Most sessions are held at the child's home; however, I occasionally tutor my students at daycare/after-school, or the local library. Most students tutor once a week, but two times may be optimal for students who need extra support. In special cases, including home-schooled students, I have tutored in-home, up to 3-4 times per week. Although one on one is preferable, I have tutored small groups within the same age group.
